Swanston Golf New Clubhouse
Latest news:
30th October 2007:
The electricity pole in front of the new clubhouse is being
removed and the cable put underground. This will give
an uninterrupted view of the new 18th green from the main
clubhouse bar/balcony. A new power transformer is
being installed on the next pole up the road to increase the
power supply to the new building and irrigation pumps.
5th October 2007:
We're nearly there. Building Control picked up that
the builders had not fitted 'panic bars' on all the exit
doors. These have now been ordered, but are taking 4
weeks to be delivered from America. As a result the
official opening has now been put back till early November.
12th July 2007:
Top floor offices are complete, bar/restaurant is only a few
weeks away from completion, changing rooms, toilets,
showers, pro-shop on the lower floor are all under
construction.

Gavin Jefcoate Architects have prepared some images to help

nearby farm buildings but apart from that these images are
pretty accurate.
18th October:
Steel frame has been delivered and erected, showing the
extent of the new building. Pre-cast concrete floors
