Swanston qualified for their first ever appearance in the Summer League quarter-finals which they lost to Silverknowes (away).

Played Won Halved For Against Points
1 Baberton 8 6 0 46 18 12
2 Swanston 8 6 0 39.5 24.5 12
3 Broomieknowe 8 3 1 23.5 32.5 7
4 Prestonfield 7 2 1 24.5 31.5 5
5 Liberton 7 1 0 15 33 2

Tuesday 15th July Swanston vs Prestonfield (Home) Won 6½ to 1½
Expecting this to be a shoot-out for 2nd place in the group, the Swanston team were really up for the match.  Prestonfield turned up in not such a positive mood with the news that they'd lost to Liberton the previous week meaning that this fixture was no longer relevant as Swanston were already guaranteed 2nd place and a first ever appearance in the knockout stages.

Tuesday 1st July Swanston vs Baberton (Home) Lost 5-3
Baberton got their revenge in the return fixture to go back to the top of the table. We were without John Gallagher (Spain) and Graeme Miller (California).  Stuart Hutchison did manage a memorable victory over Baberton's 2008 Club Champion, Stephen Marshall.

Tuesday 24th June - Baberton (Away) Won 5-3
An historic victory away to Baberton, who'd not lost a home match for 10 seasons.  Wins for John Gallagher, Graeme Miller, Mike Armstrong, Graham Burnett and a crucial 1 hole victory by Malcolm Campbell, from 2 down with 4 to go, sealed a memorable night at a wet Baberton.

Tuesday 10th June - Liberton (Home) Won 7-1
Back to our winning ways with a comfortable win in tough, windy conditions.  Wins for Grant Skinner and Craig Stewart on their season debuts, combined with the return of Mark Dickson and Graham Burnett saw us home comfortably.  With the two games against Baberton to come and mirrored results against Broomieknowe, points difference may prove crucial in deciding the second qualifying spot.

Friday 6th June - Broomieknowe (Away) Lost 7-1
Due to the Friday date many of Swanston's top players were unavailable for this game and Broomieknowe also fielded what they described as their strongest side possible.  It still doesn't make the result any better.  The good news is that Ross Muir defeated Ross Thomson (3 times their club champion in the past 10 years) on the last green in his first appearance in the summer team of the season.

Monday 2nd June - Prestonfield (Away) Win 5½ to 2½
Wins from Mike Armstrong, John Gallagher, Mark Dickson, Malcolm Campbell and Colin McClung helped Swanston keep their 100% record this season.

Monday 5th May - Liberton (Away) Win 4½ to 3½
Victories from Malcolm Campbell, Mike Armstrong, Mark Dickson and Graham Burnett, and a crucial half point from dormie 2 down from James Muir secured a welcome away victory.

Tuesday 29th April - Broomieknowe (Home) Win 7 - 1
