The Final of the Junior Championship took place yesterday between Josh Grahame and Greig Dighton, the two lowest qualifiers from Saturdays qualifier.

Josh dominated the first few holes but only ever managed to build a 1 hole lead and at the turn the game was All Square.

Greig holed a long putt from the front of the 10th green to get in front for the first time and there was never more than one hole between them until the 16th when Greig went 2 up and a half in 3 at the seventeenth was good enough for Greig to win 2/1.

Well Done to both players who played with no fuss, great sportsmanship and it was a pleasure for me to watch and referee.

Thank you to the spectators and The Captain who joined the game at the twelfth hole and was on hand to present Greig with his Trophy after the match.
